Cookie Policy
Last updated 15 October 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser; similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work the same way. This page lists the ones chubbyfilms.com uses. The data controller is Chubby Films S.r.l., registered office Via Giacomo Chilesotti 30, 36075 Montecchio Maggiore (VI), Italy, VAT no. IT04302890241 — [email protected]; our Privacy Policy explains the rest.
Necessary
These make the site work and need no consent.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| chubby-consent | Chubby Films (local storage) | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every page. | 12 months if you accept anything, 6 months if you refuse everything |
| __cf_bm and similar | Cloudflare | Set only when needed to tell people from bots and protect the site from abuse. | Up to 30 minutes |
Films on the site play from our own servers or from Vimeo. The Vimeo player is loaded with its do not track setting, so it does not set cookies or record what you watch.
Analytics — only with your consent
If you accept analytics cookies (Accept, or the Analytics switch under Customise), the site loads Google Analytics, which counts visits and the pages viewed and tells us, in aggregate, how people find and use the site, and Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymous session replays and heatmaps (scrolling, clicks, mouse movements) with personal text hidden and the forms excluded. Google's advertising features are switched off, and Google does not store your IP address. Nothing is loaded if you click Reject or ignore the banner.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google (chubbyfilms.com) | Tells one visit from another, so visitors are counted once. | 13 months |
| _ga_J154L035H7 | Google (chubbyfilms.com) | Keeps the state of the current visit. | 13 months |
| _clck | Microsoft Clarity (chubbyfilms.com) | Recognises a returning browser, so its visits are grouped. | 12 months |
| _clsk | Microsoft Clarity (chubbyfilms.com) | Joins the pages of one visit into a single recording. | 1 day |
| CLID, MUID | Microsoft (clarity.ms, bing.com) | Recognise the browser across sites that use Clarity. | 12 months |
Google Ireland Ltd. and Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. process this data on our behalf; see how Google uses data from sites that use its services and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Advertising — only with your consent
If you accept advertising cookies (Accept, or the Marketing switch under Customise), the site loads the Meta Pixel, which records that you visited the site, the pages you viewed and whether you sent an enquiry. We use it to measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show our work to people who have already seen it. Nothing is loaded if you click Reject or ignore the banner.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta (chubbyfilms.com) | Identifies the browser to measure ad performance. | 3 months |
| fr, and other facebook.com cookies | Meta (facebook.com) | Ad delivery and measurement, for people logged in to or known by Meta. | Up to 3 months |
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. acts as joint controller for this collection; what it does with the data afterwards is described in Meta's Privacy Policy, and you can manage your ad preferences from your Facebook or Instagram account.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of every page, or with the button below. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings; blocking the necessary ones may stop parts of the site from working.
